EmergenceTek Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Strategic Planning Analyst to support leadership with strategic analysis, market intelligence, competitive assessment, and business planning activities. This role will play a critical part in informing strategic decisions, identifying growth opportunities, and providing data-driven insights that support long-term business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and industry analysis to identify business opportunities, risks, and emerging trends
- Support strategic planning initiatives by developing analyses, recommendations, and business cases for leadership review
- Evaluate market dynamics, customer needs, technology trends, and competitive positioning to inform growth strategies
- Perform portfolio, program, and business performance analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Develop executive-level presentations, dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations
- Monitor key business metrics and provide ongoing assessment of strategic initiatives and organizational performance
- Support leadership reviews, strategic planning cycles, and business development activities through data-driven analysis
- Conduct benchmarking studies and evaluate organizational capabilities against industry peers and market trends
- Collaborate across strategy, business development, operations, finance, and functional teams to support enterprise objectives
- Assist in evaluating partnerships, investments, and strategic growth opportunities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, International Relations, Public Policy, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, market analysis, business intelligence, competitive intelligence, consulting, corporate strategy, or related analytical roles
- Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative business analysis and translating findings into executive recommendations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
- Experience preparing executive briefings, reports, and presentations for senior leadership
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Master's degree in Business, Strategy, International Affairs, Public Policy, or a related discipline
- Experience supporting strategic planning within a large, matrixed organization
- Knowledge of market intelligence, competitive assessment methodologies, and business development processes
- Experience with Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms
- Background in government, defense, aerospace, technology, or highly regulated industries
