Responsibilities
- Use creativity and diverse range of engineering training to explore solutions to a variety of building mechanical system problems
- Participate in the production, design, and construction phases of the project on a diverse range of building types
- Work cross-functionally with other disciplines and multiple project teams
Skills
- 3-5 years' experience designing and developing projects from concept to completion
- Mechanical design engineer with experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design for commercial construction including preparing construction documents, engineering reports, and conducting field investigations
- Experience in designing projects over $5 million construction cost
- Must be able to prepare deliverables including calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications
- Detailed knowledge of general building construction and mechanical systems is essential
- Excellent analytical and technical skills needed
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills required
- Revit (required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
