They are seeking a Field Sales Market Manager for the East Region Market, responsible for operations, merchandising, training, and driving revenue growth with Retail and Builder accounts.
Responsibilities
- Field-based role that requires traveling to customer's locations on a regular basis
- Contribute to sales team success by sharing market and competitive information
- Responsible for delivering revenue, margin, and share goals (quota is based on profit targets)
- Develop relationships with existing and potential new trade customers
- Negotiate and close profitable sales; prospecting and market development
- Train trade partners on the merits of Whirlpool Corporation's products
- Prepare and renew quotes for specific projects
- Trade association leadership
- Merchandise trade customer floors
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of sales experience
- Sales Experience - Preferably selling to appliance retailers or distributors
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Exceptional communicator with impeccable interpersonal skills
- Insatiable appetite to meet and exceed revenue, profit, and volume goals
- Proven track record of sales success
- Self-starter with the ability to develop and drive sales strategy
