Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hired Recruiters is seeking a mission-driven and passionate individual to be their founding Director of Marketing. This role will focus on driving user adoption, redesigning the marketing site, and executing lead generation programs to enhance marketing efforts for both small businesses and enterprises.
Responsibilities
- Collecting insurance information is tedious, both for the consumer and for the businesses that serve them
- Say goodbye to dozens of form fields that don’t convert, filled with questions consumers don’t readily have the answers to
- Say hello to single-click data importing
- You'll sit at the intersection of Product and Sales to drive user adoption of Canopy Connect
- You will run our Marketing function and improve our ability to market to both small businesses as well as enterprises
- You'll completely redesign our marketing site - it hasn't been redesigned since the company was founded in early 2020!
- You'll develop and execute lead generation programs (including but not limited to search, display, email, paid social, organic social, content marketing) to drive demo request, and optimize funnel conversion rates
- You'll analyze and report on the impact of demand creation activities on sales pipeline and revenue
- You'll design and build marketing collateral like images, copy, sales decks and videos
- You'll define and execute go-to-market strategies and campaigns across key customer segments
- You'll implement new processes and technology to continuously improve our demand generation operations
- You'll develop a deep understanding of our key customer segments
Skills
- 5+ years professional experience
- Experience at a Series A or earlier startup
- Expertise with Hubspot and/or Salesforce marketing automation tools
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing cost effective marketing campaigns with clear ROI focused metrics
- Growth mindset with results-driven approach to work (testing, measuring, iterating)
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working in nebulous environments with minimal oversight
- Clear, concise, and confident communicator (both written and verbal)
- Lifelong learner
- Extraordinarily organized
- Experience at a company selling APIs and/or data (vs. a platform)
- Experience in insurance, payments, banking, FinTech, and/or InsurTech
- Experience at hypergrowth startup that scaled substantially during your tenure
