Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is working with an established company in the Moving and Relocation sector that is looking to hire a Chief Operations Officer. The successful candidate will oversee the business's operational performance, ensuring the efficient delivery of commercial moving services and logistics while leading operational teams.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations across moving and relocation services
- Leading and supporting operational managers to ensure service standards are maintained
- Managing fleet, warehouse and operational resources to meet business requirements
- Monitoring operational performance, productivity and service delivery across multiple departments
- Working closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure the successful delivery of customer moves
- Reviewing operational processes and implementing improvements where required
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations, health and safety requirements and company procedures
Skills
- Extensive operations leadership experience in multi-million ($15M+) moving and relocation organisations
- Strong knowledge of logistics, FF&E/O&I projects, final mile shipping and commercial moving operations
- Experience managing warehouse, fleet and operational teams
- The ability to lead, develop and motivate large teams
- Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills
