- We'll arrange a time that works for you to have a conversation about your experience, where we'll go into more detail about your specific skills and knowledge, and ensure that any questions you may have are answered.
- Once you're ready, we'll invite you to finalise your certification, which includes compliance checks, your contract and an invitation to complete comprehensive training courses. This certification will enhance your skills and equip you to deliver top-notch services to our clients.

- Bank statement processing
- Bank transaction processing
- Management of fixed assets
- Manual General Journal Entries (GJEs)
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Processes at month end to finalise the month including inter-entity reconciliation
- Financial management
- 1099 preparation and lodgement
- This application process is open to individuals who are located in the US only
- We’re looking for experienced bookkeepers we can partner with for the long-term, and utilise your knowledge & experience of the US bookkeeping landscape for SMBs
- You'll have opportunities to frequently connect with our New-York based team, however a lot of our operations still occur in Australia, so you may receive communication from us outside of normal office hours due to the time difference
- Flexibility – we’ll pair you with bookkeeping engagements that fit your skills and schedule – with Visory you have the freedom and support to control your own schedule
- Consistency – we focus on long-term fit when pairing you with engagements, giving you consistent work month on month
- Remote-first – we are a remote first team with the tools to help you thrive, and so you can be based anywhere in the US
- Are a Xero-certified advisor or have extensive industry-experience of working in Xero and hold a solid understanding of adjacent back office technology e.g. Gusto Payroll
- Are located in one of the following US states (California, Iowa, Nebraska, Texas, Illinois, Minnesota, Kansas, Indiana, North Carolina or Missouri).
- Are deeply knowledgeable in all things bookkeeping and back office finance, from daily reconciliation to preparing complex reports
- Have a track record of independently managing books, preferably through your own client base or via contracting/freelancing
- Have your own laptop or computer that you’re comfortable working from
- Find working remotely and using online messaging and video conferencing second nature
- Are looking for some extra work to utilise your extensive experience and fill up your spare time
