As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while still being an integral part of our dynamic team. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Overnight Customer Service Representative to join our team on a remote basis. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for performing approvals of consumer loans, making payment arrangements, and helping customers with any questions. You'll undertake an intermediary role between potential clients and our financial institution, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support. **Responsibilities and Duties** As an Overnight Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include: * Making outbound and receiving inbound calls to communicate with customers and resolve their queries * Consistently and accurately documenting all information pertaining to accounts, ensuring that our records are up-to-date and accurate * Using basic business math to solve problems and provide accurate solutions to customers * Speaking clearly, concisely, and effectively; listening to, and understanding information and ideas as presented verbally * Maintaining a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism when speaking to customers, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected * Following written and/or verbal instructions, ensuring that you understand and comply with our policies and procedures * Working within the laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures, ensuring that our customers receive compliant and regulatory-compliant service * Processing card payments accurately, ensuring that our customers' transactions are processed efficiently and securely * Performing the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems * Reviewing applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan, ensuring that our customers receive accurate and timely decisions * Following up with customers to clarify important points, ensuring that our customers understand their loan details and obligations * Finalizing loan details and keeping customers informed in rules and obligations, ensuring that our customers are aware of their responsibilities and commitments * Remaining up-to-speed regarding lending and other financial services, ensuring that our customers receive the most accurate and relevant information * Creating and renewing records, ensuring that our customers' information is accurate and up-to-date * Identifying customer needs, exploring all options availability to customers, and providing solutions that meet their requirements * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and change quickly with the needs of the company * Ability to multi-task by speaking with customers and typing notes simultaneously, ensuring that our customers receive efficient and effective service **Required Skills** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills: * Excellent Customer Service skills, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ensuring that our customers receive clear and concise information * Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure and navigate tense situations, ensuring that our customers receive empathetic and supportive service * Proficient with technology, especially computers, software applications, and phone systems, ensuring that our customers receive efficient and effective service **Preferred Education and/or Experience** While a minimum of a High school diploma/GED is required, we prefer candidates with: * Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a financial institution or related industry * Technical skills, such as proficiency in MS: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and cloud-based storage **Technical Skills** To perform this role, you'll need to be proficient in: * MS: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook * Internet and cloud-based storage * Multiple software systems, including loan origination and customer relationship management systems **Working Conditions / Physical Demands** As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll need to be able to: * Sit for long periods of time, talking, listening constantly * Work a 3rd shift schedule, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am * Fully remote after initial 1 week training period (training will be 8am-5pm M-F during 1st week) **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
