**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our Information Designing group, responsible for planning and executing ETL/ELT data pipelines, designing and implementing data set mapping/tables/perspectives, and building batch processes using Apache Wind current for various projects. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate with our Studios and Innovation colleagues to gather information requirements, design and implement data pipelines, and ensure seamless data integration across multiple environments.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with Studios and Innovation teams to gather information requirements, design and implement data pipelines, and ensure seamless data integration across multiple environments
* Design and implement ETL/ELT data pipelines using Apache Wind current, Snowflake, and other cloud-based technologies
* Develop and maintain data set mapping/tables/perspectives, ensuring data consistency and accuracy
* Build batch processes using Apache Wind current, leveraging SQL, Python, and other programming languages
* Work with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
* Participate in driving best practices around data designing software development processes
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and business growth
**Essential Qualifications**
* 2+ years of experience with SQL and data pipeline development
* 2+ years of experience planning, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines
* 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies, ideally AWS and S3
* 3+ years of experience in an Information Designing role
* Strong understanding of data lakes, data warehouses, and application data sets
* Experience with Apache Wind current, Databricks, and other big data technologies
* 2+ years of experience working with cloud-based platforms
* 2+ years of experience working with Gitlab/Github and Docker
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with Wind current, Gitlab, Snowflake, and other cloud-based technologies
* Graduate degree in Software engineering, Science, Designing, or a related field
* Experience in streaming, media, or digital marketing industries
* Strong understanding of data visualization tools, such as Looker and PostgreSQL
