About the Role: Hitch Service Technician
As a Hitch Service Technician at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in our operations by providing expert technical services to customers who need reliable towing solutions. You'll work at various arenaflex moving and storage center locations, utilizing your advanced technical knowledge to deliver outstanding service that keeps our customers coming back.

Key Responsibilities
Your daily responsibilities as a Hitch Service Technician at arenaflex will include:
- Product Knowledge Expert: Comprehensively explain and demonstrate the full range of towing applications and systems available through arenaflex, helping customers understand their options and select the perfect solution for their needs.
- Technical Installation: Professionally recommend and install appropriate tow packages on customer vehicles, ensuring all installations meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Customer Service Excellence: Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient support to all arenaflex customers, building lasting relationships and ensuring a positive experience at every interaction point.
- Sales Support: Assist customers in selecting additional products and services that enhance their moving experience, from trailer rentals to moving supplies.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring every installation and service meets or exceeds regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing professional development through arenaflex University, expanding your technical skills and staying current with the latest industry advancements.
- Equipment Maintenance: Properly maintain and care for all tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork, service records, and customer documentation in a timely manner.
- Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with fellow arenaflex team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service across all touchpoints.
- Additional Duties: Handle other responsibilities as assigned by management to support overall center operations.
What We're Looking For: Essential Qualifications
To succeed as a Hitch Service Technician at arenaflex, you must possess the following essential qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License: A current, valid driver's license with the ability to maintain an excellent driving record is absolutely required. You'll be test-driving vehicles and moving equipment regularly as part of the job.
- Technical Aptitude: Fundamental wiring experience and proficiency with hand tools and power tools are essential. Previous experience in automotive repair, electrical work, or similar technical fields is highly valued.
- Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Technical school certifications or additional education in automotive technology, electrical systems, or related fields are a plus.
- Physical Capability: The ability to perform physical tasks including prolonged periods of both stationary work and movement, traversing various terrain, reaching and using equipment, and lifting/moving at least 50 pounds (assisted or unassisted) is required.
- Safety Awareness: Must be comfortable working around moving parts, machines, fumes, and occasionally handling chemicals, with willingness to use protective clothing and equipment including masks, goggles, gloves, and shields.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to effectively explain technical concepts to customers with varying levels of technical knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience in automotive installation, hitch installation, or similar technical positions

- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring for vehicle towing applications
- Familiarity with U-Haul or similar moving/rental equipment
- Basic computer skills for processing orders and documentation
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Physical Work Environment
