License/Certification/Registration
*All relevant, required certification program(s) should begin no later than one month after the employee's start date. Once the certification program has commenced, employees must obtain their certification(s) within three months. Relevant certification must be maintained ongoing. Epic Anesthesia Certification – REQUIRED
Education:
*Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a related area may substitute for degree
Experience:
*5+ years experience in hospital/clinic healthcare setting with experience supporting an EHR, related applications, and integrated workflows. This same experience with an EHR vendor is also acceptable.
*Experience with software application tools used for application build and data manipulation.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
*Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare and/or financial software applications
*Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses and various other hospital staff.
*Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing with all levels of associates and management.
*Knowledge of analytical processes and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to evaluate business user needs against current system capabilities.
*Ability to accurately and effectively translate business requirements to high-level system specifications.
*Familiarity in the use of Microsoft Window products (Word, Excel, Access and Project) or equivalent.
*Aptitude for learning new software tools and products.
*Familiarity with the software development cycle.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
