Digital Media Director

We are looking for a Digital Media Director for our key client — an internationally recognized company operating in the physical gold and macroeconomic analysis space, with a rapidly growing global digital media ecosystem focused on financial markets, wealth preservation, and macro content. The role is focused on scaling and leading a high-growth digital media operation across platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Substack, TikTok, and WhatsApp. The ideal candidate will combine strong editorial judgment, digital growth expertise, leadership skills, and understanding of financial/macroeconomic topics. The candidate must be comfortable working on Asian time zones. ​ Your Duties: • Lead the strategic growth of digital media platforms across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Substack, and WhatsApp • Scale audience reach, engagement, and platform performance through content and distribution strategies • Oversee editorial planning and narrative positioning within macroeconomics and financial markets topics • Coordinate content production workflows and media operations • Monitor analytics, KPIs, and growth metrics across all channels • Lead and coordinate content, production, and research teamsConduct regular KPI and performance reviews • Optimize platform-specific growth strategies and audience acquisition • Identify and evaluate emerging media trends, platforms, and AI-powered content tools • Maintain operational discipline and consistency across all media channels Requirements • Proven experience scaling digital media platforms and online audiences • Strong understanding of YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Substack, and digital content ecosystems • Strong editorial instincts and storytelling/narrative positioning skills • Understanding of financial markets, macroeconomics, or investment-related content • Leadership experience managing or coordinating content/media teams • Experience working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments • Familiarity with AI-enabled media production and automation tools • Strong analytical mindset with experience tracking KPIs and performance metrics • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to work aligned with Asian time zones • Strong organizational, coordination, and project management skills Salary: CompetitiveThis offer from "Gegidze" has been enriched by Jobgether.com and got a 78% flex score.
