Job Title: Workday Business Systems Analyst / Product Owner role
Location: Remote
Duration: Contract
Job Responsibilities:
• a strong candidate profile we can take to Autodesk for a Workday Business Systems Analyst / Product Owner role focused on HCM and Recruiting.
• lead on an active Autodesk opportunity.
• US-based, ideally CA / SF Bay Area, certified in Workday HCM and Workday Recruiting, with experience supporting Talent Acquisition / People Services, owning enhancement intake and backlog prioritization, translating business needs into functional requirements, and supporting Workday bi-annual releases.
• Must have: Workday HCM, Workday Recruiting, Talent Acquisition / HR Ops experience, release planning, testing coordination, deployment readiness, stakeholder communications, and tools like Jira, Confluence, Airtable, and MS Suite.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary liaison between Talent Acquisition, People Services, and technical production support teams for Workday HCM and Recruiting
• Analyze, design, and optimize business processes to improve efficiency and user experience
• Own product intake backlog, prioritize enhancements, and translate business needs into functional requirements
• Lead Workday release management activities, including impact analysis, testing coordination, and deployment readiness
• Develop and execute clear, timely release communications to stakeholders and end users
• Ensure system configurations align with business goals, compliance requirements, and best practices
Qualifications:
• Workday certifications in HCM and Recruiting (required)
• Proven experience as a BSA, Product Owner, or similar role supporting Workday HCM
• Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition and HR operations
• Experience with Workday release cycles, testing, and change management
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Project mgmt tools: Airtable, Confluence, Jira, MS suite
