Description:
• Serve as a hands-on senior client lead and trusted advisor across multiple client accounts.
• Develop and oversee customized public relations and corporate communications strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Lead integrated communications programs tied to clinical data, regulatory events, and corporate announcements.
• Provide high-stakes counsel on corporate positioning, reputation management, thought leadership, and executive visibility.
• Use biotech and life sciences media relationships to secure top-tier coverage and guide media strategy.
• Oversee development and review of communications materials for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Drive organic account growth by identifying upsell opportunities and expanded scope.
• Lead or co-lead new business efforts, including pitch strategy, client presentations, and proposals.
• Own account financial health, including budgets, forecasting, staffing, and scope management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop teams while managing direct reports and fostering an inclusive culture.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
• Advanced degree or credential such as an MBA or CFA strongly preferred.
• 11–14+ years of relevant experience, including 8+ years in senior leadership or supervisory roles.
• Deep experience in healthcare, biotechnology, wellness, or other highly regulated industries.
• Proven ability to advise C-suite executives and manage sophisticated communications programs.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Experience supporting clinical-stage and/or commercial biotech companies, including data milestones.
• Demonstrated leadership experience building and developing teams.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue growth.
• Digital and social media fluency across earned, owned, and integrated channels.
Benefits:
• Base salary range of $157,000 to $223,000 USD.
