Who We Are Looking For ABS is seeking individuals for this Part-Time Temporary/Seasonal entry level position pertaining to the routine compliance checks of ABS retail stores and employees pertaining to the sale of alcohol to underage county citizens. What You'll Be Doing The Licensure, Regulation and Education Division, is recruiting for part-time temporary seasonal County Government Aides (CGA) to assist with underage alcohol and tobacco compliance inspections throughout the County. Duties include: • In collaboration with the Police Department, the County Undercover Volunteer will assist the Alcohol Tobacco Enforcement Specialists by attempting to purchase alcohol and/or tobacco products from licensed facilities and provide witness testimony in court and/or Liquor Board hearings. • The County Undercover Volunteer will accompany the Compliance Check Team, and travel to multiple sites throughout the County and be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Minimum Qualifications Experience: None. Education: Ability to read and write in English. Equivalency: None. Possession of a valid identification card from the applicant's state of residence. Age: Must be between the ages of 18 and 20 years old. Medical Exam Protocol: This position requires successful completion of a pre-employment medical evaluation, which includes a physical examination and drug screening.
