About the position
Join a growing apparel team focused on creating trend-driven fashion for today's next-generation consumer. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career Technical Design professional to gain hands-on experience across technical design, product development, garment construction, and apparel manufacturing while working closely with Design leadership and cross-functional teams. ON SITE 4 DAYS A WEEK
Responsibilities
• Create and revise technical sketches, CADs, and garment illustrations using Adobe Illustrator
• Develop, update, and maintain technical packages (Tech Packs) with accurate product specifications
• Enter and manage style information within PLM systems
• Support apparel development from concept through production
• Review samples and assist with fit evaluation, garment construction, and design execution
• Participate in fit sessions and document comments, measurements, and revisions
• Communicate product development updates and corrections to overseas vendors and factories
• Ensure accuracy of measurements, fabrics, trims, construction details, and specifications
• Organize approvals, development materials, seasonal documentation, and sample records
• Photograph and document final garments, including construction and detail references
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development, and Production teams to meet key deadlines
Requirements
• 1–2 years of experience in Technical Design, Product Development, Apparel Design, or a related field
• Strong Adobe Illustrator skills, including technical sketches, CAD development, and garment detailing
• Experience creating and updating Tech Packs and technical packages
• Basic Adobe Photoshop skills
• Knowledge of garment construction, fit, apparel manufacturing, fabrics, and trims
• Experience working within PLM systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced fashion environment
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills
• Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow
Nice-to-haves
• Experience within junior apparel, fashion apparel, fast fashion, or mass-market retail environments
• Familiarity with trend-driven product development and Gen Z consumer preferences
• Experience working with overseas factories, vendors, and development teams
• Exposure to fit sessions, sample evaluation, and garment measurement review
