Executive Vice President / Executive Director, State Medicaid Assessments We are seeking a visionary and operationally excellent Executive Leader to steer our State Medicaid Assessment division. In this critical role, you will oversee the strategic direction, clinical integrity, operational execution, and compliance of large-scale Medicaid functional eligibility and health assessment programs. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Client Management ● State Agency Partnering: Serve as the executive-level point of contact for state Medicaid directors and health department leadership, ensuring high client satisfaction and contract retention. ● Growth & Expansion: Identify opportunities to scale assessment services, optimize current state contracts, and lead clinical/operational strategies for new state procurement bids. ● Policy Advocacy: Stay ahead of federal (CMS) and state-level Medicaid policy shifts, translating regulatory changes into operational strategy. Build & Inspire: Lead a multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed team of clinical managers, field assessors, quality auditors, and administrative staff. ● Workforce Optimization: Develop robust recruitment, training, and retention strategies for field clinicians (RNs, LCSWs, etc.) to combat industry-wide healthcare staffing shortages. Qualifications & Experience Required ● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field. (Master’s degree or clinical licensure preferred). ● Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in assessment-related programs Medicaid operations, managed care, or government health services. ● Assessment Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS), and standard functional eligibility assessment tools. ● Contract Management: Proven experience managing multi-million dollar state government contracts, including strict P&L responsibility and SLA adherence.
