Job description: If you are a current University of Northern Iowa employee and would like to apply for this position, login to UNI Works and type “Find Jobs” in the search bar to view and apply for open positions.Full Consideration Date: 05/05/2025Job Description:Primary Function: Provides advising, customer service, and support to learners seeking microcredentials, endorsements, and single course offerings; provides individualized assistance to students to identify personal, academic and/or career goals; collaborates with colleges to develop a plan of study for each learner; performs intake and discovery meetings with potential learners to determine their needs and alignment with UNI programming; collaborates with employer partnership staff to develop individualized plans of study for employees; organizes and hosts recruitment events; and serves as the program coordinator for a discretionary number of graduate and/or grant-funded programs or workshops.Qualifications: At least a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, student affairs, English, or related field plus one year of higher education recruitment or advising experience; experience in customer service or relationship management; exceptional oral and written communication skills; and strong attention to detail required. Master’s degree in student affairs, higher education administration, or related field; advising experience; experience recruiting non-traditional/adult learners; experience managing programs or initiatives; and process development experience preferred.
