About the Systems, Inventory & Product (SIP) Team
The SIP team is dedicated to creating an inventory experience that "just works." We're on a mission to deliver a suite of solutions across technology, analytics, and product flow to enable a frictionless inventory experience. Our team is passionate about harnessing emerging technology to innovate, incubate, and scale in our stores and supply chain. As a Strategy Analyst, you'll be an integral part of this team, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive business growth and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a culture of benchmarking and inspiration from internal and external sources to drive innovation and improvement.
- Harness emerging technology to innovate, incubate, and scale in our stores and supply chain, enabling a seamless inventory experience.
- Assess the financial and operational impact of systems and initiatives using problem-solving and alternative analysis methodologies, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Build business cases to focus on capability analysis, functional levers, and opportunity identification & prioritization, supporting quick decision-making and driving business growth.
- Create impactful visual representations of analytic insights, communicating complex data insights to stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis and modeling, with a strong understanding of data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in strategic planning and management consulting, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improvement.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- A solid understanding of financial and statistical concepts, with the ability to apply these principles to drive business decisions.
- Experience working in inventory management, with a understanding of the complexities of retail inventory management.
- Familiarity with Oracle BI applications, with the ability to leverage these tools to drive business insights.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience with data cleansing and transformation tools such as Alteryx.
- Knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write complex queries to extract data insights.
- Experience working in QSR, casual dining, or fast-casual restaurant inventory flow, with a understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in these industries.
- Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis, with the ability to apply this methodology to drive business improvement.
- Experience with systems design & architecture, with a understanding of how to leverage technology to drive business growth.
