Job Overview and Responsibilities
As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will play a vital role in working with cross-functional teams across countries to jointly define requirements, develop Inbound topology and trans network solutions, and manage timelines for all current and future projects. Your exceptional analytical thinking, ability to understand complex data, and capacity to dive deep into various information sources will be essential in driving long-term strategic initiatives and adopting best practices. You will be responsible for:
- Leading projects for cross-functional teams focused on delivering new features, services, products, or systems that meet cost optimization and delivery experience maximization goals
- Contributing to the mid to long-term network planning process, tools, and features rollout and process standardization for new and emerging countries
- Defining the best topology for emerging countries by leveraging optimization tool sets to address critical strategic questions
- Gathering requirements from business owners, writing clear and detailed business requirements, prioritizing features, and driving technical scoping as needed
- Partnering with established markets teams to benchmark best practices and tools to drive implementation and adoption for new countries
- Creating scalable mechanisms and best practices, actively working to remove bottlenecks, and effectively influencing stakeholders without direct authority
- Communicating and driving strategic initiatives, proactively identifying gaps and opportunities, and deciding when to make a case for single-threaded owners and other resourcing
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Network planning, retail/e-commerce operations execution experience
- 5+ years using MS Excel, SQL, or other related data analysis tools
- 3+ years in a production, fulfillment, or planning environment
- 3+ years of experience and success in leading cross-functional programs
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Experience with Six Sigma/Lean, network modeling, and Operational Excellence
- Ability to write SQL queries
- Knowledge of how a fulfillment center and transportation network are designed and operated
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
