We're looking for a talented Senior Statistics Architect to lead the evolution of our Voice of Customer (VoC) program, working with cutting-edge big data technologies to deliver actionable insights that impact millions of customers worldwide.
In this role, you'll serve as a technical architect and subject matter expert, designing and building robust data infrastructure that powers our customer experience analytics. You'll work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to transform how we collect, process, and derive insights from customer feedback across multiple channels and geographies.
About the Voice of Customer Team
Our Customer Listening Team manages one of the most comprehensive customer feedback programs in the industry, receiving over 5 million surveys annually from clients across consumer, business, and service provider segments. This end-to-end Voice of Customer methodology encompasses the design and programming of customer experience surveys, which include more than 40 different studies translated into over 10 languages and deployed in more than 20 countries.
As our Senior Statistics Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in modernizing and transforming this critical program, ensuring that we continue to deliver industry-leading customer experience insights while maintaining the highest standards of data quality and accuracy.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Statistics Architect at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key areas:
- Platform Development & Maintenance: Support the development and maintenance of our new Voice of Customer technique sourced from Cornerstone and integrated with the survey and dashboard platform hosted through Qualtrics, our survey vendor partner.
- Business Requirements Definition: Work closely with application teams to define, frame, and capture business requirements, translating strategic objectives into technical specifications.
- Data Architecture Design: Design and build robust data model architecture to support optimal data processing and standardized metric definitions across the organization.
- Big Data Solutions: Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to deliver innovative solutions while ensuring data quality and accuracy through intensive testing.
- Performance Optimization: Offer guidance to enhance capabilities that drive efficiency in computing programs using the massive data ecosystem.
- Consumer Story Analysis: Power consumer story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software programs, and create automation tools for testing and builds.
- Process Automation: Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with partners from various business units to prioritize, define, develop, and test data for various use cases as part of the Voice of Customer end-to-end technique.
Required Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, Pyspark, Python, and Shell Scripting languages, with demonstrated understanding of data-driven projects spanning at least 3+ years.
- Collaboration Skills: Active collaboration with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables.
- Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile methodologies of delivery where small increments of a product are introduced at regular intervals to business groups.
- Data Architecture: Strong understanding of data modeling principles and experience building scalable data pipelines.
- Big Data Technologies: Proficiency with distributed computing frameworks and big data ecosystems.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
- Experience with Qualtrics survey platform implementation and integration
- Background in customer experience analytics or Voice of Customer programs
- Knowledge of real-time streaming data processing
- Experience with cloud-based big data solutions
- Strong statistical analysis background
