The Human Language Analysis Lab at Vanderbilt University seeks a Senior Research Scientist for directing research and personnel doing state of the art natural language processing and app development related to psychological and health sciences.

Brief Description of Duties:

The Senior Research Scientist position provides strategic vision, leadership, mentorship, and direction to our diverse group of researchers for the Human Language Analysis Lab. The primary responsibilities include supervising, planning, and evaluating the activities of graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, as well as providing design, instruction, and implementation for cutting-edge multi-disciplinary research projects. The incumbent allocates lab time, resources, budgets, and interfaces with university administrative personnel accordingly. In this position, they will also be responsible for leading and preparing grant proposals, contributing as a senior or lead author to impactful research publications at the intersection of AI, health, and psychology, and expanding the missions of the HLAB.
