Overview:

In this role, you’ll identify and solve customers’ unmet needs in complex, cross-boundary scenarios, defining long-term, data-informed investment opportunities while influencing partners across GitHub and Microsoft. You’ll own and drive roadmaps spanning multiple feature areas, collaborate with partner teams to design golden configurations, and lead scenario walkthroughs that anticipate system friction and customer adoption challenges. You will engage with early adopters, internal and external stakeholders, and senior leadership to gather input, build alignment, and evangelize our vision, strategy, and roadmap.

Qualifications:

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management, software development, product design, or related field

    • OR Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 3+ years experience in product/service/project/program management, software development, product design, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience working in developer tools, or AI-driven products. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Expertise in application and developer experience.

  • Demonstrated expertise in how AI is transforming software development, with a proven track record of building or integrating AI-driven capabilities.

  • Experience influencing across broad organizations and working directly with enterprise customers and partners.

  • Track record of success working with engineering, design, finance, sales, customer success, and marketing.

  • Recognized thought leader in product management, with public speaking, writing, or mentoring experience.

  • Passion for GitHub, open source, and the opportunity to redefine how the world builds and secures software. 

Compensation Range: The base salary range for this job is USD $124,000.00 - USD $329,200.00 /Yr.

These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
