Job description: The Community You Will Join:The mission of the Airbnb Global Safety & Security (GSS) team is to ensure the safety and security of Airbnb's global community through proactive security risk management. Trust is our highest priority.The Senior Manager, Trust Global Partnerships reports directly to the Director, Global Safety and Security, and will lead the Trust Global Partnerships (TGP) team and serve as a strategic, critical thinker for our team and its ability to serve as security consultants for the business. TGP focuses on identifying, developing and leveraging Trust & Safety external expert partnerships in furtherance of Airbnb priorities. Through partnerships, TGP supports efforts across Airbnb to create sound policy and products for our stakeholders, peace of mind for our community, increased capacity to act proactively and grow impact in trust and safety.We are seeking a passionate leader with a strong background as an experienced trust and safety professional who can develop, communicate, and execute strategic global security risk management policies, priorities and partnerships. This leader has their finger on the pulse of emerging trends, and drives organizational effectiveness and alignment with Airbnb's goals and business security objectives.The successful candidate is a strategic problem solver and valued collaborator with a creative growth mentality who can work collaboratively across senior functional leadership and teams.The Difference You Will Make:

- You are a strategic thinker who appreciates the big picture behind actions and plans, and employs the right tools and strategies to build durable and relevant solutions that deliver on short and long term value and have a sustained impact on the business and team.
- Leads the development and management of external partnerships and engagement opportunities with industry peers and global networks to provide expertise and insights that inform the evolution of Trust & Safety priorities to align strategy with broader company objectives.
- Leads the Trust and Safety Advisory Coalition (TSAC) which is composed of more than 20 US-based and international organizations with deep expertise in trust and safety matters relevant to Airbnb.
- Develops programs, events, and presentations to deepen engagement with safety experts, NGOs, and other stakeholders to strengthen trust and safety at Airbnb
- Collaborate with internal teams and global safety organizations to develop and enhance safety awareness and other safety related issues in the world.
- Lead the development and alignment of initiatives, priorities and roadmaps for the global Trust Global Partnerships team to drive strategic safety efforts for the Airbnb community at scale.
- Work closely with the legal and public policy teams on engagement with law enforcement authorities, regulators and legislators on online safety, security and law enforcement issues.
- Develop Return on Security Investment metrics and reporting to manage progress against goals and to evaluate the effectiveness of the Trust Global Partnerships and engagement, using data to drive improvement plans and track progress against the strategy/goals.
- Manage logistics of projects from start to finish, including identifying and scoping opportunities, aligning with different teams and functions, advancing contractual agreements, coordinating rollouts and managing budgets;
- Responsible for planning, staffing, budgeting, and managing expense priorities for Airbnb's Trust Global Partnerships
- 15+ years of a proven track record of supporting multi-faceted partnerships with public and private sector and experience working with nonprofit organizations, multilateral organizations, academic experts and policy makers.
- Experience implementing strategic planning and engagement that drives innovation, change management and process redesign
- A highly developed network of resources, cultivated through years of building relationships in the government, NGO and the trust and safety tech community to ensure your effectiveness in a wide region with complex geopolitical, cultural and business environments.
- Experience developing and implementing strategic priorities to identify and mitigate global risks to enhance Trust & Safety program initiatives
- Strong track record of organizing and executing events, facilitating consensus building, developing programs and engagements with both internal and external audiences
- Exceptional project management skills from idea conceptualization to implementation. Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Experience proactively solving critical problems of strategic and operational importance that impact safety on the platform, current and future products, technologies and trust defense
- Experience navigating complex / matrixed business organizations and influencing across cross-functional teams (policy, legal, operations, crisis management, business development, product development, engineering)
- Experience working on policies that have a global impact by utilizing quantitative and qualitative data to support recommendations
- A proven track record of working collaboratively with subject matter experts on cross-functional teams, balancing disparate priorities, and rapid problem solving in high-stress situations.
- An executive presence with outstanding communication skills including written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to create executive communications and presentations.
- Experienced manager effective at building trust through relationships and empowering a high-performing team.
- A proven track record of managing performance across a matrixed organization that covers a wide range of geographies, languages, time zones, etc.
- Sound judgment & ability to work independently with minimal supervisory oversight
- Strong critical thinking and analytical capability including project management experience leading cross functional initiatives with a desire to influence and lead change at the enterprise level
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment to produce results under deadlines, juggle multiple projects simultaneously, find pragmatic and creative solutions to business issues, provide concise and business-focused advice and make sound judgements.

- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20 - 30% of the time
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred
