Your primary goal will be to align carrier package capabilities with advanced delivery-to-home demand plans while driving functional excellence through precise package volume projections down to the lowest level of granularity. You will become an integral part of our logistics ecosystem, working collaboratively with functional groups, network planning and S&OP teams, carrier partners, and various headquarters and field teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Last Mile Analytics: Support Last Mile package gauging and carrier scope quantification to ensure optimal delivery performance across all distribution channels.
- Demand Planning Alignment: Align carrier package capabilities with advanced transport to-home demand plans, ensuring seamless coordination between forecasting and execution teams.
- Volume Projection Excellence: Drive functional excellence through precise package volume projections at the most granular level, enabling accurate resource allocation and capacity planning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with functional groups, network planning teams, S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) teams, and carrier partners to achieve unified logistics objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with various headquarters and field teams to gather insights, share findings, and implement data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Innovation & Problem-Solving: Embrace quick change and work effectively in ambiguous situations, developing creative solutions that address evolving customer demands and market dynamics.
- Business Needs Adaptability: Perform other duties as required, as job responsibilities may change suddenly based on business needs and evolving operational requirements.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of data analysis experience or relevant equivalent domain expertise in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or e-commerce operations.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in SQL, R, Python, and data visualization programming in large-scale, complex business environments.
- Big Data Technologies: Hands-on experience working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Hive.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and reasoning abilities with the capacity to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Problem-Solving: Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to develop innovative solutions for challenging logistics scenarios.
- Forecasting & Modeling: Experience in forecasting and modeling, with the ability to build predictive models that drive accurate demand planning.
- Ownership & Results: Proven history of taking ownership and driving measurable results in previous roles.
- Goal Setting & Communication: Ability to define clear goals or outcomes and track progress while effectively communicating updates to stakeholders.
- Decision-Making: Capability to make decisions with minimal guidance from supervisors or other leaders, demonstrating independence and sound judgment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in distribution or transportation operations, particularly in last mile delivery environments.
- Background in e-commerce fulfillment and logistics optimization.
- Familiarity with carrier network optimization and route planning software.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Understanding of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
