Senior IT Business Analyst – Supply Chain Inventory Management

Location: Remote (except for local candidates who work onsite one day per week in San Francisco, CA near BART) We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the IT organization of a global cosmetics retail company. This contract role will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to enhance and support custom inventory management applications that enable efficient supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities: • Support and enhance custom tools used for inventory planning, tracking, and reporting. • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for inventory management solutions. • Collaborate with supply chain, IT, and cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and deliver technology solutions. • Create functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and test cases. • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with production support. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting Supply Chain Inventory Management applications. • Experience with custom inventory management tools and business process analysis. • Familiarity with ERP and supply chain platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and Blue Yonder. • Understanding of React.js applications and web-based technologies. • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
