What You'll Do as the Senior Family Law Paralegal: • Support Family Law Attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial preparation • Prepare, review, and file pleadings, declarations, financial disclosures, discovery, subpoenas, and other legal documents • Independently manage complex family law cases involving high-asset divorces, custody disputes, support matters, and property division • Coordinate court deadlines, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third-party experts • Organize and analyze financial records, executive compensation, retirement assets, business interests, and other complex marital estate documentation • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, settlement conferences, and mediation • Maintain organized case files while ensuring compliance with California family law procedures and court rules • Deliver exceptional client service with professionalism, empathy, and discretion Must-Haves as the Senior Family Law Paralegal: • 7+ years of dedicated California Family Law Paralegal experience • Fluent Mandarin language skills (spoken and written) • Extensive experience supporting high-net-worth family law matters • Strong knowledge of California family law procedures, judicial forms, financial disclosures, and litigation deadlines • Ability to independently manage complex cases with minimal supervision • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Professional maturity, emotional intelligence, and sound judgment • Stable employment history demonstrating long-term commitment Nice-to-Haves as the Senior Family Law Paralegal: • Cantonese language skills • Experience with seven- and eight-figure marital estates • Experience handling executive compensation matters, including RSUs, stock options, bonuses, and deferred compensation • Familiarity with Santa Clara County Superior Court procedures • Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate Our Client Offers: • Competitive compensation of $45-$60 per hour ($93,600-$124,800 annually), depending on experience • Fully remote work environment for California-based employees • Two weeks of PTO during the first two years, increasing to three weeks thereafter • Paid holidays plus your birthday off • 401(k) eligibility after one year • $150 monthly Health & Wellness stipend • Quarterly team lunches with the remainder of the day off • Sustainable billable expectation of approximately 30 hours per week (6 billable hours per day) • Collaborative, team-first culture with exceptional employee retention • Opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing boutique family law practice that values and respects its people
