Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Agile Delivery Manager / Technical Account Manager (PM/TAM) with deep experience leading delivery in development services and consulting environments. This role sits at the intersection of client delivery, Agile execution, and engineering leadership, owning outcomes across multiple concurrent teams and client engagements.
You will be accountable for execution excellence: sprint discipline, delivery predictability, tooling automation, and clear communication—while acting as a trusted partner to both clients and internal engineering leadership.
It is a hands-on delivery leadership position focused on getting complex work shipped, repeatedly, and predictably.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery & Program Leadership
Lead and coordinate multiple parallel development teams across different client engagements
Own sprint execution, delivery timelines, dependencies, and risk management
Rapidly context-switch across projects without sacrificing execution quality
Act as the primary delivery interface between clients, engineering teams, and internal leadership
Ensure commitments are realistic, transparent, and consistently met
2. Agile & Scrum Excellence
Own and run all Scrum ceremonies:
Sprint planning
Daily standups
Reviews and retrospectives
Enforce strong Agile hygiene and execution rigor
Backlog refinement and prioritization
Estimation and capacity planning
Roadmapping and release planning
Retrospectives and continuous improvement (Kaizen)
Coach teams toward effective Agile adoption with a focus on outcomes, not rituals
3. Jira, Metrics & Execution Transparency
Deep hands-on ownership of Jira and Confluence:
Workflows, dashboards, automations, and reporting
Define, track, and operationalize delivery metrics including:
Velocity and predictability
Sprint burndown / burnup
Cycle time and lead time
Throughput and delivery confidence
Use metrics proactively to:
Identify delivery risks early
Drive corrective action
Provide clear, “at-a-glance” reporting to stakeholders
4. Tools Mastery & Automation-First Operations
Design and implement automation-first delivery operations
Build and operationalize tooling across:
Jira / Confluence
GitHub / CI-CD workflows
Slack and internal communication channels
Leverage AI and LLM-based tools (GPT, agents, copilots) to automate:
Sprint creation and management
Status and delivery reporting
KPI tracking and alerts
Rapidly learn and deploy new tools to remove friction, reduce manual work, and improve execution velocity
Experience with ScriptRunner, Tempo, Structure, or similar Jira extensions is a strong plus
5. Leadership & Communication
Run efficient, outcome-driven meetings with clear ownership and follow-through
Create concise, high-signal communication artifacts for executives and clients
Proactively document and cascade:
Roadmap decisions
Trade-offs and risks
Delivery status and dependencies
Partner effectively with engineering leaders—able to debug process and execution issues without micromanaging or getting lost in technical detail
Model a growth mindset, continuous improvement, and high ownership culture
Requirements
Required Experience & Skills
10+ years experience as a Senior PM, Delivery Manager, Program Manager, or Technical Account Manager
Strong background in software development services / consulting organizations
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent clients and delivery teams
Expert-level knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks
Deep hands-on experience with Jira (workflows, dashboards, automations)
Strong understanding of:
Agile vs. waterfall trade-offs
Estimation and capacity planning
Portfolio and dependency management
Risk detection and mitigation
Excellent communication skills with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
Comfortable operating in fast-changing, high-context-switch environments
Preferred Experience
Experience in data platforms, data engineering, analytics, or AI-focused companies
Familiarity with cloud-native delivery environments (AWS, Kubernetes, modern CI/CD)
Hands-on experience with AI agents, workflow automation, and LLM-powered tools
Prior ownership of delivery metrics automation at scale
AWS and/or Databricks certifications
