We're looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting team. This role is highly focused on payroll accounting, including related accruals, benefits allocation, reconciliations, and fluctuation (flux) analysis. As a Senior Accountant at Vanta, you'll prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations, partner closely with Payroll and HR, and perform detailed flux and variance analysis on payroll and compensation-related expenses.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in compensation accounting or a similar role, ideally in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA a plus.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, NetSuite and payroll platforms such as ADP preferred.
