Sales Representative – Industrial Packaging Solutions
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role focuses on custom industrial packaging solutions and technical solution selling within the manufacturing and retail distribution industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business development, managing key accounts, and building long-term customer relationships through consultative sales strategies.
The Sales Representative will work closely with clients to understand operational challenges and deliver tailored packaging solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support supply chain operations. This individual should be highly organized, competitive, and capable of converting cold prospects into profitable, long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within manufacturing and retail distribution markets
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consultative and technical solution selling
Manage and grow a book of business while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
Convert cold accounts into long-term, high-value clients
Collaborate with internal teams to provide customized packaging solutions
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and account management records
Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
Requirements
3+ years of outside sales experience in industrial packaging, manufacturing, or B2B technical sales
Proven success managing large accounts and exceeding sales quotas
Experience with custom packaging contracts and solution-based selling
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve results
