Sales Development Representative (New York, NY)

Box is the leader in Intelligent Content Management, providing organizations with tools to enhance collaboration and manage their content lifecycle. As a Sales Development Representative, you will engage with potential clients, manage leads, and contribute to revenue growth by closing smaller deals and fostering customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Act as the initial point of contact for new customers via our sales channels and respond promptly to their inquiries
• Engage with potential clients through various communication channels such as calls, emails, and marketing efforts aimed at creating business opportunities
• Successfully negotiate and close contracts for deals valued at less than $5,000 in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)
• Foster connections with a wide range of clientele and encourage discussions about Box solutions
• Demonstrate attentive listening skills when understanding customer requirements and articulating how Box can meet those needs effectively
• Meet established quota targets for territorial revenue growth consistently
• Adhere to Box’s standards when using the Salesforce system while also providing lead metrics
• Occasionally close deals yourself with smaller organizations
