About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our Government and Corporate Affairs team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in promoting and selling air travel on arenaflex, while providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell air travel on arenaflex
- Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets
- Answer inquiries regarding general travel information and resolve customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner
- Communicate with customers over the phone when researching passenger complaints, advising of cancelled or delayed flights
- Communicate new rules, policies, and procedures that would affect the customer
What You'll Need for Success
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training
- Skills, Licenses & Certifications:
- Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills
- Knowledge of Native SABRE
- Ability to be resourceful and creative at immediate problem resolution
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable
- Satisfactory attendance required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
- Knowledge of the airline industry and its operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
