This is a 50% FTE position offered through the Urban@UW Program in the College of Built Environments at the University of Washington. The purpose of this position is to assist and support the operationalization of the vision, mission, and goals of Urban@UW: to build more sustainable, just, resilient, and healthy urban places and communities.

Position Complexities:
The position will engage with stakeholders inside and outside of the university, and support collaborative research, teaching and other efforts in line with Urban@UW's mission.

Position Dimensions and Impact to the University:
The position includes administrative, communications, project management, and strategy dimensions. This position will support the University's mission of being #1 in public impact, through supporting Urban@UW as one of the many UW centers building collaborations for impact.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Administration: (80%) - Regularly post to the Urban@UW website
- Regularly update the Urban@UW calendar
- Regularly publish Urban@UW ?newsletter? on the AllUrban listserv
- Regularly post to Urban@UW social media accounts
- Maintain AllUrban listserv
- Maintain website content, including inventories, events, and other pages
- Work with CBE-IT to maintain website functionality
- Work with Faculty Director to update communications strategies and plans - Assist in facilitating meetings with and communication between the director, advisory committee, and steering committee

Event Planning: (10%) Research and Collaboration: (10%) - Track daily to annual activities of Urban@UW for incorporation into program evaluation and iterative strategy refinement

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
