The VP of Finance & Administration is a newly elevated role designed to give the CEO and leadership team a true operating partner across finance, HR, procurement, and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Act as a high-leverage partner to the CEO and leadership team to drive strategic initiatives, support scale, improve efficiency, and increase visibility
- Own the company's finance and administrative function across accounting, HR, procurement, FP&A, reporting, and selected strategic initiatives
- Serve as a key member of the leadership team, helping drive planning, operating discipline, and cross-functional execution
- Build scalable processes, reporting, and decision support to help the company grow efficiently and profitably
- Help operationalize the company's AI initiatives, including planning, hiring, pricing, forecasting, resource allocation, internal workflow adoption, and performance tracking
- Support pricing strategy, business analysis, special projects, and broader growth initiatives
- Bring financial and operational rigor to high-priority cross-functional work outside the traditional finance lane
- Move quickly between strategy and execution, build structure where little exists, and push back with sound judgment when something does not make sense
- Build trust across departments and bring structure, accountability, and clarity as the company scales
- Oversee the outsourced bookkeeping function, including close, reconciliations, AR, AP, and day-to-day accounting workflows
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintain strong controls, and improve underlying finance processes and data quality
- Lead the annual audit and manage the process with external auditors, advisors, and internal stakeholders
- Introduce practical automation and AI across finance and operations to improve reporting speed, accuracy, visibility, and efficiency
- Oversee payroll and multi-state employer registrations, ensuring compliance as the company operates and grows across multiple states
- Lead annual budgeting, ongoing forecasting, KPI reporting, dashboards, and variance analysis
- Build better visibility into utilization, capacity, and the linkage between headcount, projects, and service delivery in order to improve efficiency and margin
- Define and enforce core KPIs across the organization, bringing more structure to Managed Services, Projects, Procurement, and other key functions
- Build reporting and analysis that help leadership understand company, customer, service-line, and departmental performance
- Improve forecasting accuracy, resource allocation, and overall financial planning discipline
- Oversee the HR function through the HR Manager
- Support org planning, headcount planning, performance management, workforce planning, and broader people strategy
- Act as a business partner to leadership and support hiring, including buildout of the AI team
- Oversee procurement through the Procurement Manager and Analyst across customer hardware and software purchasing
- Drive stronger margin discipline in procurement and build the processes, team structure, systems, and operating mindset needed to improve performance
- Improve team structure, workflows, controls, efficiency, and coordination across the procurement process
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure procurement supports customer outcomes and company growth
- Partner with the President and CRO on M&A from sourcing through diligence, analysis, closing, and integration
- Lead post-close M&A integration in collaboration with other leaders across the business
- Support deal modeling, transaction execution, lender materials, and post-close integration planning
- Help evaluate acquisition opportunities in the context of broader company strategy
- Own the company's relationship with senior debt providers and other financing partners
- Manage lender reporting, covenant compliance, capital planning, and ongoing communication tied to growth and acquisitions
