As a Territory Account Manager, you will drive sales and manage client relationships while promoting radiopharmaceutical products in your territory.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues
- Maintain a deep understanding of the features, benefits, and clinical value of our radiopharmaceutical products
- Deliver effective product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to healthcare professionals
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management
- Accurately record all activities and customer information in Salesforce.com
- Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and areas for performance improvement
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- Stay current with industry regulations and communicate relevant updates to stakeholders
Skills
- 4 year degree from an accredited university resulting in a BA/BS degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical, pharmaceutical, or diagnostic sales within hospital or academic settings
- Demonstrated experience engaging in grand rounds, tumor boards, P&T committees, and multidisciplinary clinical presentations
- Proven track record of successfully launching new products and achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the U.S. reimbursement landscape and healthcare sales processes
- Skilled in developing and executing sales operating plans aligned with corporate goals
- Experienced in project management, including budgeting, contracting, and timeline management
- Ability to quickly learn and communicate complex clinical or technical information
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven team player
- Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically
- Good understanding of project management skills including contracting, budget tracking/control and timeline management
- Aptitude to learn, understand, and contribute to technical subjects or to source further expert advice as necessary
- Effective communication and reporting with excellent written/presentation skills
