Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Southwest Care Center is a non-profit organization providing exceptional healthcare to the communities of Santa Fe and Albuquerque, NM. They are seeking a Technical Support Analyst II to provide comprehensive support and maintenance for software, hardware, and peripherals within the organization's desktop computing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex workstation problems for end users
- Recommend and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair for remote users as needed
- Deliver required desktop service levels by installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting end-user workstations and related hardware and software
- Assess the need for and implement performance upgrades to computers, including the installation of CPUs, I/O, NIC cards, hard drives, RAM, and so on
- Collaborate with IT Team to ensure efficient operation of the company’s desktop computing environment
- Administer and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation networking software products, as required
- Receive and respond to incoming calls, tickets, and e-mails regarding desktop problems
- Respond to and perform move, add, and change requests as they are submitted
- Ensure that physical desktop connections (i.e. RJ-45 Ethernet jacks, RJ-11 telephone modem jacks, connectors between PCs and servers, etc.) are in proper working order
- Prepare tests and applications for monitoring desktop performance, followed by providing performance statistics and reports
- Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring desktop operations
- Maintain an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, network cards, and other components and equipment
- Accurately document instances of desktop equipment or component failure, repair, installation, and removal
- Liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors, as necessary
- Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars as requested
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Minimum (1) year of hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
- Degree in Information Systems or related field required or equivalent work experience
- Valid driver's license
- Must have reliable personal transportation to travel between clinics and offices
- Must have personal SMART phone with adequate data plan
- Experience working in a healthcare environment highly desired
- A+, MCSE, MCSA and/or MCS Azure highly desired
