Harmonic Finance Inc is one of the world’s fastest growing media and content production businesses, known for producing targeted media content. They are seeking a Staff Accountant to support the build out of the Accounting function and manage day-to-day accounting activities.
Responsibilities
- Support the setup of month end in Netsuite
- Support the monthly close and continuously improve processes for growth
- Support royalties accounting
- Support the year end and audit processes
- Manage all day to day accounting activities (AP, AR, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll)
- Support the Head of Finance with ad-hoc projects
Skills
- Entry level or 1-2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant
- Ideally worked in either Creative Industries (TV & Film, Music, Media, Publishing) OR ecommerce
- Excited to work in a scale-up business
- Commercially astute and able to build relationships with senior stakeholders
- Degree in Accounting or MBA
- Experience in Book or Magazine Publishing
- Some experience with either royalties accounting or inventory accounting
