The role involves managing inventory ordering, forecasting, supplier management, and supporting inventory systems while working cross-functionally to optimize supply chain performance and enhance customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage weekly/monthly forecast for assigned program(s) and monthly data to monitor supplier performance, identify cost reduction opportunities, and ensure quality
- Works hand in hand with internal teams to ensure performance and competitive costs across program(s)
- Initiates action to clear issues and improve KPI’s to targets while working with cross functional teams as needed
- Attends and represents UBIF SCM in a variety of meetings and business reviews (Initiatives, WPMs, and MBRs) maintaining and updating information and presenting appropriate readouts
- Leads ad hoc analysis for miscellaneous projects
- Maintains effective relationships and communication with internal partners and external suppliers
- Supports operational activities including communicating and resolving daily issues
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to effectively drive prescribed KPIs, accurate material forecasting, purchasing, compliance, and continuity of supply while managing E&O exposure and lowering costs
- Other duties as assigned
