Lockheed Martin is a leading aerospace and defense company, and they are seeking a Sr Aero Capital Financial Analyst to join their Aero Capital Business Operations team. This role involves financial oversight, reporting, and analysis within capital portfolios, supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring alignment in capital planning processes.
Responsibilities
- Financial oversight and reporting within the Capital portfolios
- Capital metrics & trend analysis
- Financial reporting - Corporate & FP&A Deliverables (LRP vs. Outlook, COO, etc.)
- Capital Long Range Planning (LRP) cycle
- Key Investments process oversight and alignment
- APEX Lead – Identify & lead implementation of improvement projects
- Special Projects as they arise
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college
- 5+ years in business operations role – Demonstrated business acumen, proactive analytic skills to include financial modeling and business cases generation/analysis driving communication and decision making to solve problems
- Experience with written, verbal and presentation skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications
- Diversified business operations background demonstrating ability and desire to learn and grow
- Program and/or Project management experience
- Comfortable leading change with agility
- 1LMX mindset
- Experience with Capital and/or Discretionary Resources
