Storm2 is a fast-growing fintech company in the cross-border payments sector seeking a Senior UX/Product Designer to shape the user experience across its products. The role involves leading UX strategy and execution, simplifying complex financial journeys, and working collaboratively with various stakeholders to create intuitive user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Own and define the UX vision across remittance, wallet, and card products from discovery through launch and iteration
- Conduct user research across US and LATAM markets, translating customer insights into product decisions and improved user experiences
- Simplify complex payments infrastructure, including FX, settlement processes, and payment rails, into intuitive customer journeys
- Partner closely with product and engineering teams to influence scope, prioritisation, and technical trade-off decisions
- Ensure compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements are embedded into the customer experience from the outset
- Design and optimise loyalty and rewards experiences to drive customer engagement, retention, and repeat usage
- Establish and maintain UX standards, patterns, and design guidelines across the product portfolio
Skills
- Significant UX/Product Design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful delivery of financial services or fintech products
- Deep understanding of payments, fintech, or related financial services environments
- Strong user research capabilities, including planning, conducting, and synthesising research into actionable design solutions
- Experience designing intuitive experiences within highly regulated and complex customer journeys
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and operate effectively within a fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environment
- Strong systems-thinking and experience building scalable design frameworks and standards
- Experience designing products for Latin American customers and markets
- Knowledge of financial crime, payments, or card compliance frameworks, including AML, KYC, and PCI-related requirements
- Professional fluency in both English and Spanish
