As a Senior Manager, you will lead client engagements, manage a team of consultants, and provide expert guidance on Workday Financials best practices, ensuring successful implementations and ongoing enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of consultants
- Lead engagements as part of the Workday Financials Practice and recommend best practices related to Workday functionality
- Manage support requests related to Workday Financials which requires a great deal of workstream management and cross-functional team collaboration
- Subject matter expert developing system configuration solutions, composite reports and calculated fields; demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems, and assist the client in testing the Workday solution
- Modify and redevelop/engineer business processes based on unique client requirements and best practices across the Workday platform
- Support client-side implementations including assembling data gathering workbooks as well as system testing and UAT
- Work with clients to help convert legacy data into Workday
- Establish effective working relationships with clients and outside vendors
- Identify client enhancement opportunities for existing and new features introduced across new Workday releases
- Perform peer reviews, manage, train and mentor junior staff
Skills
- 6+ years of functional experience with Workday Financial Management with demonstrated success of hands-on experience with delivering Workday solutions in this area
- 4+ years of experience as an Implementation Manager, or Systems Architect with Workday, a Workday Partner or Workday Client
- 2+ years of experience doing project management
- Deep functional knowledge around financial systems and processes with advanced report writing skills; and experience building dashboards, custom validations, condition rules and calculated fields
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to support effectively multiple customers concurrently on short duration projects
- Bachelor's degree or an advanced degree in Finance/Accounting
- Adaptive insights solutions experience is a plus
- Current or previous Workday Certification highly desired including Workday PRO
