Tremont Search Group is representing a well-capitalized group seeking a skilled Senior Legal Counsel to support long-term strategy initiatives. The role involves engaging with stakeholders, evaluating risks, and providing legal advice related to project agreements and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to stages of a project (EPC, PPAs, O&M, financing/JV agreements, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal teams, executive leadership, and external counsel
- Identify and mitigate legal risks related to project execution and regulatory challenges
- Advise on permitting processes, environmental regulations, zoning laws, and other legal requirements for project development
Skills
- JD from a nationally accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with a state bar
- 5+ years of transactional legal experience at a law firm or in-house
- Prior experience in alternative investments preferred
