What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Scientist at careerzynith, you will partner closely with Business Intelligence and Product leaders to drive customer growth by delivering actionable business and audience insights through rigorous experimentation design and analyses. Your work will directly influence how careerzynith reaches, retains, and delights its global user base.
- Analyze User Behavior: Examine customer needs and identify, prioritize, and address pain points and delight moments through analytics, behavioral tracking, clicks, conversions, and channel performance data.
- Build Predictive Models: Construct sophisticated models to uncover what drives performance across reach, retention, referral, and revenue growth metrics.
- Create Dashboards and Reports: Design intuitive dashboards and produce executive-level reports that explain product, marketing, and business trends clearly and persuasively.

- Build Cross-Functional Partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with product, design, engineering, and marketing teams to launch new growth initiatives for testing and iteration.
- Evaluate Product Launches: Provide detailed feedback to product and engineering teams on launch impact, including target launch metrics, A/B testing results, and post-launch performance analysis.
- Surface Statistical Insights: Distill statistically significant deviations from data that may impact reach, retention, referral, and revenue metrics.
- Ensure Data Quality: Research and monitor data quality closely, partnering with Data Engineering teams to provide actionable requirements.
- Frame Business Problems: Translate complex business challenges into questions that can be answered through data analysis, and convert business needs into clear analytical requirements.
- Lead Strategic Analyses: Design and lead time-sensitive strategic analysis projects, including methodology development, analysis, recommendations, and presentation of findings to senior management.
What You Bring: Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a highly quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or Data Science.
- Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience working in the financial sector or with financial data products.
- Analytical Experience: Demonstrated experience in data analysis and generating insights for consumer-focused businesses.
- Query Optimization: Strong knowledge of query optimization and data ETL processes.
- Big Data Technologies: Hands-on experience with big data tools such as Hive, Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, and similar platforms.
- Machine Learning Skills: Solid background in machine learning, including cluster analysis, neural networks, and predictive modeling.
- Statistical Methods: Deep experience applying statistical techniques such as correlation analysis, design of experiments, linear and nonlinear regression, logistic regression, sampling and resampling methods, time series analysis, and longitudinal analysis.
