Duties & Responsibilities
•Perform the administration, monitoring, maintenance, and management of cloud resources in Azure, including detailed application setup, deployments, configurations, and optimization/tuning
•Administer Azure resources by adjusting Cloud services sizing and subscription based on Cloud Compute, Storage, Database and Network utilization
•Coordinate with the enterprise, infrastructure, application architecture and development teams to design, test and implement both cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions
•Provide technology solutions that support business needs, technical requirements and established IT standards and guidelines
•Review implementations against established standards and best practices and identify gaps and improvement opportunities
•Develop and implement solutions and procedures that minimize cost, redundancy, manual effort, and rework
Experience/Education Required
•BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related subject; or equivalent real-world experience
•Experience administering servers, databases or cloud platforms
•Awareness of Azure concepts and topology, including
