Dice is a leading Healthcare system in the western region, seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee data and business application projects. The role involves managing complex project implementations, ensuring successful execution from initiation to closeout, and working with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities
- Support both data and business app projects
- Data projects such as analytics dashboards, regulatory requirements, and AI Chatbots
- Rev Cycle and HR apps strongly required
- Successful analysis, initiation, planning, execution, and closeout of programs and projects as assigned by the Director, PMO, or their designee
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience leading information technology projects, including requesting/securing approval to start projects through project closeout
- Experience with all phases of project management, with demonstrated success across a variety of project types (construction, research, infrastructure, clinical applications, business applications, products) required
- Proficiency in both theoretical and practical aspects of project management, including tools and techniques (e.g., project planning, risk/issue management, governance, cost/benefit analysis, project change controls)
- Complex project implementations, working with cross-functional teams of stakeholders and technical specialists, managing vendors, system integrators, or system implementers as part of large-scale projects
- Presenting to executive-level steering committees and governance groups
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and summarize key discussions, decisions, and action items
- Ability to drive project outcomes and escalate within reasonable time
- Experience with implementing HR, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, ERP, and Timekeeping applications
- Ability to understand integrations between multiple IS systems within the Healthcare space
- Budget management of project financials from start to finish (budgeting, purchase order and invoice management, forecasts)
- Oversight in data integrations between different software systems and applications
- Managing projects that involve data warehousing, data analytics, and reports/dashboard build
- Business analyst knowledge in capturing data requirements and other design specifications related to integrating systems
- Must have strong project management skills beyond simple tracking and reporting: enforce decisions, hold resources accountable, drive the project forward to completion
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information System, Information Technology, or related technical field required
