[Remote] Paxos Labs - DeFi Backend Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Merciv is focused on building enterprise infrastructure for trusted onchain financial products. They are seeking a DeFi Backend Engineer to help scale their DeFi infrastructure capabilities by developing and researching advanced risk management and yield optimization techniques in the DeFi space.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with a Quantitative Researcher to manage a portfolio of yield generating opportunities across protocols and blockchains
• Manage algorithm design and back testing to produce actionable insights for DeFi portfolio management
• Automate complex onchain interactions interacting with various DeFi protocols via offchain services
• Monitor data, forecast risk, and implement optimized triggers to enter opportunistic strategies or exit black swan events before anyone else in the market
• Maintain trading infrastructure and tools to guarantee operational security and to reduce trust assumptions for our users
• Build solvers that can find the optimal routing through various DEXs to construct transactions that can process multiple swaps in batch

Skills

• Motivated developer with the ability to develop, research, and deploy extensive knowledge across TradFi and DeFi
• Experience in Quantitative Risk Analysis
• Experience in DeFi Trading Strategies
• Experience in Performant Backend Engineering
