About the Role
This is a fully remote position, with the initial one-week training period conducted in a structured environment from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. After training, you'll work the 3rd shift, from 11pm to 7am, as part of our overnight customer service team. As a Remote Overnight Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for a wide range of duties, including loan processing, customer support, and ensuring compliance with our policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Make outbound and receive inbound calls, providing timely and effective support to customers and potential clients.
- Consistently and accurately document all information pertaining to accounts, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Utilize basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions regarding loan applications and customer inquiries.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with customers, listening to and understanding their needs and concerns.
- Maintain a professional demeanor, showing sensitivity, tact, and empathy when interacting with customers, even in challenging situations.
- Follow written and verbal instructions, adhering to blithequark's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Process card payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring seamless transactions.
- Perform initial approvals of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems.
- Review applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loans, making informed decisions that balance customer needs with risk management.
- Follow up with customers to clarify important points, finalize loan details, and ensure they are informed about rules and obligations.
- Stay up-to-date regarding lending and other financial services, continually updating your knowledge to provide the best possible support.
- Create and renew records, maintaining accurate and comprehensive customer information.
