Motion Recruitment is one of the country's leading fintech companies seeking an Oracle Financial Systems Consultant to join their Finance & Business Systems team. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert in Oracle core financial modules, driving complex accounting transformations and designing scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Configure, support, and optimize Oracle FAH, GL, SLA, and BIP environments to meet evolving business needs
- Design and maintain scalable data models that support core accounting operations and downstream reporting
- Architect and document technical and functional design solutions for new initiatives and system enhancements
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement innovative improvements across accounting workflows
- Support product launches by ensuring all financial systems are prepared for accurate and timely reporting
- Manage and maintain integrations between accounting platforms and connected systems, ensuring seamless data flow
- Partner with accounting, integrations, and data engineering teams to deliver holistic, cross-functional solutions
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable, scalable technology solutions
- Advise stakeholders on Oracle best practices, automation capabilities, and emerging AI features
- Coordinate with Finance & Business Systems teams to maintain alignment and respond to system-related inquiries
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field required
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle core financials, including FAH, GL, SLA, and BIP is required
- Demonstrated expertise in accounting process transformation and solution architecture
- Proven ability to configure and support integrations between enterprise accounting systems
- Deep knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to bridge business requirements with technical solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiency
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams including accounting, data engineering, and integrations
- Familiarity with tax systems and FCCS as they intersect with accounting data
- Exposure to Oracle AI and automation capabilities
- Background in fintech, banking, or cryptocurrency industries
