Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Planet Group is seeking an experienced Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC) Integration Engineer to join their team. This role involves partnering closely with full stack developers to modernize an existing field inspection application and guiding the integration team through various technical aspects of the OFSC platform.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary authority on the OFSC platform, guiding the integration team through architectural decisions, API design, and implementation best practices to ensure a scalable, reliable connection between our modern application stack and Oracle Field Service Cloud
Skills
- Deep hands-on expertise with Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC), including configuration, data model, and platform capabilities
- Strong proficiency with the OFSC REST API, including Activity, Resource, Capacity, and Core Manage APIs
- Experience designing and implementing OFSC plugins using the OFSC Plugin Framework and JavaScript SDK
- Familiarity with OFSC business rules, routing logic, capacity categories, and work zone configuration
- Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0 and other authentication/authorization patterns used in OFSC integrations
- Experience integrating OFSC with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or GIS platforms via REST/SOAP and middleware tools (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, or similar)
- Ability to translate business and field operations requirements into OFSC data models and workflow configurations
- Comfortable collaborating with full stack developers, providing technical guidance on API consumption, payload structures, and error handling patterns
- Experience with modern integration patterns including event-driven architecture, webhooks, and asynchronous messaging
