We are seeking an experienced Storage Systems Administrator to provide advanced administration, support, and optimization of enterprise storage infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance optimization, disaster recovery readiness, and operational excellence while supporting ITIL-based service management processes.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support NetApp FAS storage systems and NetApp ONTAP environments
- Manage SAN and NAS storage infrastructure, including provisioning, zoning, and performance tuning
- Support EMC storage platforms and multi-vendor storage environments
- Perform capacity planning, storage provisioning, replication, backup integration, and disaster recovery configuration
- Monitor storage health and performance using NetApp Active IQ Unified Manager (AIQUM)
- Troubleshoot complex storage issues and implement long-term performance improvements
- Ensure high availability and reliability of enterprise storage infrastructure
- Configure and support Kerberos and LDAP authentication
- Integrate storage and infrastructure systems with enterprise directory services and access control solutions
- Support Incident Management by diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues
- Perform Problem Management, including root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions
- Utilize ServiceNow ITSM for ticket management, workflow tracking, and reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation for incidents, changes, and system configurations
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5–7 years of enterprise infrastructure and storage administration experience
- Hands-on experience with: NetApp ONTAP, NetApp FAS, NetApp Active IQ Unified Manager (AIQUM), SAN and NAS storage environments, EMC storage systems, Windows Server administration, Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration, Microsoft PowerShell scripting
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes
- Experience with Kerberos and LDAP authentication
- One or more of the following certifications are preferred: NetApp Certified Professional (NCDA/NCIE), Microsoft Certification, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
