Specialty Search Group is partnering with a growing healthcare organization to identify an experienced sales professional for a newly created, fully remote position. The National Sales Manager will develop new business within the employer health and pharmacy benefits market, focusing on building relationships and managing complex sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop a pipeline of new business opportunities
- Prospect into targeted organizations and develop relationships with senior decision-makers
- Manage opportunities from initial outreach and discovery through evaluation, negotiation, and close
- Develop thoughtful sales strategies for complex accounts with multiple stakeholders
- Work effectively with benefits consultants, brokers, employers, and other healthcare partners
- Lead consultative conversations around pharmacy costs, benefit performance, and opportunities for improvement
- Participate in formal evaluations and competitive sales processes
- Coordinate with internal subject matter experts throughout the sales cycle
- Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and sales activity
Skills
- Approximately 5+ years of successful healthcare sales or business development experience
- A demonstrated history of personally generating and closing new business
- Experience within pharmacy benefits, PBM services, employer healthcare, benefits consulting, or a closely related market
- Familiarity with self-funded employers and the broker/consultant ecosystem
- Ability to sell a sophisticated solution rather than a transactional product
- Experience navigating long sales cycles and multiple decision-makers
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
- Comfort operating independently in a remote environment
- A track record of building relationships while remaining accountable for measurable sales results
